Quote of the Day

Found this interesting....and just remembered it :)

"I never thought I'd be standing on my theology teacher's desk."- Punky

(In theology class)

Funny Story!

Here's a funny story to brighten your day :)

In a hospital relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill.

Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. 'I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news,' he said as he surveyed the worried faces.

He continued, 'The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an extremely experimental procedure, very risky… but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain yourselves...'

The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a great length of time, someone asked, 'Well, how much does a brain cost?'

The doctor quickly responded, '$5,000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain.'

The moment turned awkward. All of the men in the room tried not to smile with egos ablaze, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked.

One man, finally unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone in the room wanted to ask, 'Why is the malebrain so much more?'

The doctor smiled at his childish innocence and explained to the entire group, 'It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've actually been used.'

Another welcome!

Good Luck on Finals!!!

Hey!

I know finals started this week and some people even had one today (language). I know I have one the next two days and some next week. So I'd like to wish everyone good luck on whatever final they have and here are a few inspirational quotes (thanks to Lindsay) to help you as you study! :D

"The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible."
- Arthur C. Clarke

"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Good Luck!

P.S- I'll be posting inspirational or really random or funny quotes hopefully everyday :)
